Greetings:
This blog is designed for students in "PR Methods," Section 001, at Florida A&M University during fall semester 2008. Students will be working on a campaign to promote recycling at FAMU, especially in the School of Journalism & Graphic Communication building.
The recycling effort will be dedicated to the memory of one of our students, Nina Gilbert, who died in a car accident this summer. Nina was an active member of the FAMU Green Coalition and worked hard to promote sustainability in the greater FAMU community.
Students in PR Methods will be posting their assignments on this blog, starting Aug. 26.
However, we welcome input from anyone else who has thoughts or suggestions about recycling on campus.

- Dr. LaRae Donnellan, known as Dr. D, has been a professor and the public relations sequence coordinator at Florida A&M University since August 2001. She helped found and was selected as one of the first co-chairs of the FAMU Green Coalition in December 2006. Currently, she advises the group. She is an active member of Sustainable Tallahassee.
